This policy explains what Bleu Truffle Kitchens collects when you use bleutruffle.com, why it is collected, and what is done with it. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past.
Who we are
Bleu Truffle Kitchens is a private chef and event cooking business based in Sacramento, California, founded and operated by Alfred Nickson. Bleu Truffle Kitchens is a trading name of Bleu Truffle Brands LLC.
Bleu Truffle Kitchens is a service area business. Chef Al cooks at your address, not at a public storefront, so no business street address is published on this site.

What we collect
Only what you choose to send us. When you submit the inquiry form, that is:
- Your name and email address, which are required so we can reply.
- Your phone number, the date you have in mind, guest count, occasion and city, all optional.
- Whatever you write in the message field, including any dietary or allergy information you choose to share.
- Whether you ticked the box consenting to calls, texts and emails.
- Campaign parameters such as utm_source, if you arrived from a link that carried them.
We do not ask for and do not want payment card numbers, government identification, or health records. Please do not send them through this form.
How it is used
To reply to you, to plan a menu, and to arrange an event. That is the whole list. We do not build advertising profiles from it and we do not sell it.
Text messages and your mobile number
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
If you tick the consent box on the inquiry page, you agree to receive calls, texts and emails from Bleu Truffle Kitchens at the number and email you provide, including by automated means. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help.
If you do not tick the box, we will not text you. We may still reply by email, and by phone if you gave us a number.
Who else sees it
A small number of service providers process this data so the website can function. They act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.
- Netlify hosts the site and receives form submissions.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces used on this site. Your browser requests them from Google when a page loads.
- Email and messaging providers deliver our replies to you.
We will also disclose information if we are legally required to. Otherwise, no.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no third party analytics or advertising pixels at the time of writing.
The site stores campaign parameters from your link in your browser's session storage, so that if you arrived from an advertisement we can tell which one when you get in touch. That storage is cleared when you close the tab and is never shared.
If analytics or an advertising pixel is added later, this section will be updated before it goes live.
How long we keep it
Inquiries are kept for as long as it takes to answer them and to keep a sensible record of work done, and then no longer than we have a reason to. Ask us to delete yours and we will.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@bleutruffle.com and we will handle it.
California residents have additional rights under California privacy law, including the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to request deletion. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front. Exercising any of these rights will never get you worse service.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and form submissions are encrypted in transit. No system is perfect, and we will not pretend otherwise. If something goes wrong that affects you, we will tell you.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be flagged on the page rather than slipped in quietly.

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of California.
